The seminary’s Scholarship Fund collects funds to be distributed as scholarships for students demonstrating financial need and academic potential. Our focus is to help students whose sending church/denomination/missionary does not have the resources to finance the student’s seminary education. The purpose of this needs-based scholarship program is to provide a medium for donors to give funds specifically for the support of seminarians, and for students to receive funds to assist with their theological education.
In order to apply for scholarships, interested students must be accepted into a degree program and meet all of the requirements as listed by the individual scholarship. The Scholarship Committee meets every other month throughout the year. After a student is accepted, they can request a scholarship application and submit it to the seminary no less than two months prior to the beginning of a semester. To be considered for a scholarship, both new and returning students must submit the scholarship application by the semester deadlines. The Scholarship committee meets bi-monthly.
